My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted with pal Maxie! They came from the same home and love one another.  Bruno, big gentle hound also.  

Daisy Dukes is a basset hound girl, 10 years old. About 50 lbs. Tricolor. Friendly, loving girl, good with kids. Her former owner said she 'beats to her own drum' and is calm and well behaved. She's done very well at our rescue- gentle with everyone!

She came from a home in October with Maxie D (dachshund) and Bruno (large male lab mix) after a divorce. The dogs all get along well, and Daisy Dukes is getting along with her new house pack. In their old home they were kept in the yard mainly, so Daisy may have to work on housetraining. Though she is one of our house dogs and we've never seen her go to the bathroom inside.  Very dear doggie.

Their loving new home is very experienced with both doxies and bassets.
