Diego is the sweetest boy in the world! He was in very poor health, when we pulled him from the shelter, however, we have vetted him and nursed him back to health, and he is like a different dog!
This beautiful black lab mix is approximately 7 years old. He is a laidback dog
who just wants to relax and be next to his human. He follows his foster mom everywhere and just wants to be in the same space.
Diego does well with small dogs, big dogs, kids, and basically anyone who wants to give him attention. He enjoys his belly rubs and just loves to be petted. He is potty trained and walks well on a leash.
If interested in Diego, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Diego, a Dallas/Fort Worth Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Dallas/Fort Worth, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas/Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas/Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas/Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
