My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby
Rottweiler/Lab/Heeler Mix
Female
8 years old
82 lbs.

Hey there, I’m Baby, a sweet, loving pup who will bring so much happiness to a wonderful family!

I am just the CUTEST gal and I have such a fun, happy personality. I love affection and enjoy snuggling up with my foster parents and being a part of the family. I have a pretty medium amount of energy and will be active when you feel like being active (I love going on hikes!), but will laze about if you’re relaxing. I love to play tug and chew on my toys, but cuddling with my people is the best. I do fine when my foster parents are away from the house but I just love when they’re home to give me all the love.

Not only do I love humans but I also get along well with other dog friends! I’ve met multiple dogs in off leash situations (and have had overnights at my dog friends’ homes!) and I’ve done great with being friends and just hanging out with my new buddies. It is important for me to meet a new dog in an off leash situation (the nice folks at PawsCo can share the best way to introduce me!) since I can get a bit more worked up seeing a new dog on leash. But I am really easy going with new dogs in that off leash situation and I think I’d do well living with another dog friend (or at least have some regular visiting dog buddies!) I also have met a few kiddos recently and I did really well with them! I’d likely do best with kids over age 5 just since I haven’t lived with young children before but I think I’d enjoy all the extra love an older kiddo friend could give me. I haven’t met cats so I can’t be recommended to a home with a cat at this time.

If you’re looking for a pup who can just be your best friend, who will always be by your side, I’d be such a lovely match for you! Please email my friends at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org and check out this information page: https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process.
