HOOPER

Seriously one of the sweetest, happiest, most demonstrative fosters I’ve ever had. He snuggles and kisses and soaks it ALL up. This is a Husky who loves hugs and kisses and belly rubs and never tires of the attention.

Our guess is that Hooper is Husky/Malamute and maybe a little GSD sprinkled in. He’s 6 yrs old, about 80 pounds, VERY chill and great in a car. Hooper doesn’t pull on a leash and is pretty quiet unless he REALLY has something to say. Hooper is fine with other dogs of all sizes but his focus is really people. Any and all people. He’s a “strangers are just friends I haven’t met yet” kind of guy.

Hooper doesn’t ask for a lot - he loves his meals and treats and likes a moderate walk each day. He loves to be out and about smelling and exploring the world. He’d be a great road trip buddy as he loves the feel of the open road and new adventures. Dining out? He’s your guy. Wine tasting? Yep. This guy is just incredibly happy to be with you. Anytime. Anywhere. Hoop would be a great “starter” Husky and would fine as an only dog.

Hoop is still recovering from the gunshot/repair surgery but the staples are out and the incision is a thing of BEAUTY. When his fur grows back, nobody will ever guess he had such an eventful couple of months.

As with all Norsled dogs - these dogs have a high prey drive so no homes with cats or small animals. (Yes, Hooper’s prey drive is confirmed. No cats. No pet squirrels.)
