Say Hello to our resident BFF Rocky :)
Rocky was originally found as a stray and transferred to our care to assist with capacity concerns at another shelter. Rocky was a timid shy guy when he was first found and later entered our facility, our staff and volunteers have spent time working with Rocky and BOY-OH-BOY did that work pay off!!! From the underdog to a champ, that's our good friend Rocky 🙂 😍 🥰 He loves meeting new people, spending time with his dog friends, going out on adventures to explore, and just hanging out during downtime getting head scratches and back rubs. Everyone here seems to agree somebody's definitely gonna score a 'WIN' when they add this 'knockout' to their family as a #SecondHandPet! And did we mention how INSANELY HANDSOME he is?!?!? Well, we probably didn't have to bother telling you because his looks in the photos speak for themselves... we have plenty more to share because we all can't get enough 'Rocky pics' on our cameras ;)

Rocky, a Costa Mesa German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler for sale in Costa Mesa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Costa Mesa.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Costa Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Costa Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Costa Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
