Blueberry (also known as Jenny) is a bulldog mixed with some breed with long legs! She is approximately two years old and weighs 45 pounds. Blueberry lived through a house fire, and ran away for a few days. When she returned, her ear was damaged, so the owners cut it off. We were contacted when the ear became infected. After two surgeries, her non-ear is looking great! It will just require checking from tme to time to make sure it's fairly clean. (can be flushed out with ear flush). Since Blueberry was always outside, she is learning how to be a beloved pet! She has not had ONE accident since she's been inside. She's completely crate trained and house trained. She currently lives with MANY other dogs, from Chihuahuas to 100 pound dogs. She has learned they're not going to hurt her, and does great with them! She's even playing! She did have some food aggression when she got to her foster home. She would quickly eat her food, then go to the other dogs' bowls. With just voice command correction and time, she has stopped doing that and eats in peace alongside all the other dogs. She also is working on her inside manners. She can leap over the back of the couch with ease, and has to be corrected, nicely. She's learning SO fast! Her biggest joy is physical touch. (And she loves to sleep in a bed!) She LOVES to be loved on. She is going to make someone a very special, loyal, devoted companion with just some time and patience! She is also heartworm negative! Blueberry’s adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay and a microchip.
