My story

Bentley was born here in March 2021. He is very shy and still needs lots of love and attention. He has been here a very long time and wants a new forever home.
His mother and siblings have already been adopted.
Bentley needs to be more socialized. Bently needs a family who can love him and his energy. He has the potential to be a great dog. He is trainable as long as his new owner will be patient. It will take time for Bentley to develop trust.

He is neutered and he has age-appropriate shots. He has a microchip.
He gets monthly Nexgard and Heartgard.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet the dogs and find out if you will be compatible with one. We will match the right dog with the right family and activity level.

2.
Approve Application

Fill out the adoption application so we can check your references.

3.
Interview

We want to meet with you and ask some basic questions - should there be any after filling out the application.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

5.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

All new pet homes must fill out an adoption application
including an email address and some references.

Dog Adoption Prices Vary - From $150 to $250
Depending on the cost of STERILIZATION.
Senior's and Military discounts

Prices include Spay or neutering for dogs over 6 months of age.
The dogs have Age appropriate shots.
They are on HW Prevention and Flea & Tick prevention.
They go home with Health Records, Micro Chip & Registration,
a NEW Collar & Leash, and a goodie bag -
containing treats, coupons & a dog training DVD.
And a guarantee that we will ALWAYS take the dog back.

Mission Statement
Coastal Bend Small Breed Rescue is a non-profit no-kill humane animal rescue organization dedicated to providing a second chance in a loving home for small companion animals. We promote increased adoptions, spaying and neutering of pets and community involvement to spread the word about the needs of small breed “fur-kids”. We serve the community by utilizing caring people who are dedicated to rescuing and saving companion animals.
