My story

Meet Molly! She is a precious 2 year old Chihuahua/pomeranian mix. She was found on a country road with a badly injured leg which had to be amputated. However, that hasn't slowed her down at all! She is known here at the rescue as the energizer bunny! She will make someone a fantastic addition to their family. One you meet her, you will fall in love immediately! She is microchipped, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please come meet this sweet girl and get the enrollment process rolling!

Why adoption is a great option

Molly, a Ashdown Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Ashdown, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Ashdown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashdown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashdown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashdown paves the way for another one to be saved.
