My story

*My adoption fee is sponsored!*

Age: ~6 years / 14lb

Hey, I'm PONCHO!

I may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once you gain my trust, you'll have it forever!

I love head scratches and naps. It's hard to know if I'm a giant cat or a tiny lion - you be the judge! I put on a few pandemic pounds, so my new family will have to be mindful about my health and supportive of me getting back to a healthy weight slowly. I am used to living with other cats, so I wouldn't mind having a sibling, though I would prefer to be the head-honcho in a multi-cat household.

Additional adoption info

In response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details! **Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey. If you rent, please have a copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord that states you can have a pet(s) ready. If you’re adopting a dog, introduce your future friend to any other dogs in the family (dog adoptions only).
