My story

A couple of months ago, Buffalo Pug and Rescue went down to Tennessee to bring back some dogs that they were going to find homes for in this area. While there, they saw five cats that needed to be rescued as well, so they decided to bring them along on their rescue mission. We are very happy that they were able to save them so they could find homes where they will have a great life. The cats spent some time at their dog rescue but eventually it was determined that they would have a better chance of adoption if they were brought to us to find homes. Three have already been adopted and now it’s time for Oreo and Davis to find their forever home.  Davis is more outgoing and loves to run around the store. He is always up for pets and attention. He will jump right down from the shelf in his condo if you stop to chat with him. Oreo is a bit more reserved and sometimes will wait and observe before he comes to see you. You can win them both over very easily with treats. They absolutely love their treats and will make sure you don’t skip them if they see you passing them out.    They are both super sweet and are looking for a home together where they can be loved and give love as well.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 28, 2022, 7:40 am

Why adoption is a great option

Davis, a Blasdell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Blasdell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Blasdell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blasdell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blasdell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blasdell paves the way for another one to be saved.
