Take my paw and snuggle in. You’ll love petting my plush coat. If needed, I can direct you with my paw on exactly how to give the best scritches! Start with the belly, of course, but don’t miss the ears. My foster family has declared me the “softest thing in the world” so you’ll enjoy my gorgeous coat. Maybe I should apply for the Guinness World Record!
I’ve had a rough few years moving around after my human passed away. That loss was pretty traumatic for me and I need a patient and loving family who can really let me adjust/grow my confidence in a new home before I’m ready to be out and about with everyone. It took me over a month in my current foster home to start venturing out of my safe spot and I will likely need a similar amount of time in a forever home to adjust. I’m nothing but sweet and I enjoy being pet pretty quickly if you pet me in my safe space (at my foster home, it’s under the futon!) There are a lot of gentle techniques a forever family can do to help me feel more confident but in general, I just need time and gentle encouragement.
Right now I live with my canine foster brother and am doing well with him and I’ve done wonderfully with other cats in previous homes. I think I’d prefer to have another cat in the house to help me build my confidence! Since I’m very shy, rambunctious humans or animals could frighten me. So gentle friends only, please!
I’m not so interested in toys. I’d rather cuddle. Foster mom says I’m a wonderful housemate since I’m so tidy. I like to keep my litter box contained and well arranged. I wander the house freely and am a really lovely house guest.
