Say hello to Pixie (F) & Pez (M), born in late July/early August! They are an extremely loving and adorable duo of honey-hued tiger cats with little hearts of gold to match their beautiful coloring! Rescued from a garage in a small waterfront community, Pixie and Pez were found mere hours before the onslaught of Hurricane Henri, which left the garage where they were living flooded and destroyed in its wake! Originally part of a litter of three, their sister has been adopted into a loving home and this has made this already bonded pair even more attached at the hip. We'd love to see them go to a family who wants to double adopt and have two cats join their home. Pez, the only male of the litter, is significantly larger in size taking after his father, while Pixie is extremely petite taking after their even more petite mama! Being the big boy that he is, Pez takes on that big brother role, always carefully protecting his sister and making sure she is safe and happy at all times. Everyone says the same thing when they see him, "wow, he's like a mountain lion!". And with his coloring and size, he almost does look like a mountain lion! He loves to snuggle up beside his sister and groom her when she needs it and he even shows her where the treats are hidden so he can share his bounty! While Pixie is that typical baby sister who loves to follow the heels of her big brother and pretends to hate the doting attention he gives, but as she snuggles in closer, you know she's one smitten kitten! It's really cute to watch as their favorite pastime is to simply snuggle up in bed, purr a whole lot and have their bellies rubbed in unison. Both cats love to play, with their favorite toy being stick toys wth feathers or mice dangling on a string. They absolutely looooove to "hunt" and carry their "prey" in their mouths. But being the little sweethearts that they are, they play so delicately and gently, it's absolutely charming to see how sweet and innocent these two are, never wanting to hurt a fly! Pez is the more confident and dominant one of the team, while Pixie is the more shy and submissive type. But when it comes to snuggling with their people, Pixie is the first one in line to give you a loving but of her head and purring adoration to tell you she loves you. Pez can come off a little dopey sometimes, just a typical boy cat who is way more mush than might!
