Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My husband and I adopted 7 year old Luna May 2020 from WI Humane Society. She is a gorgeous, long-haired silky black girl who is front-paws declawed. She is independent and will sit on your lap or cuddle, but when she feels like it, or when it's cold! She loves her belly rubbed. When we adopted her, the Humane Society had just opened up, and she was the only cat there. Her owner had died.
We totally love Luna and it breaks our hearts to let her go. However, she has never gotten along with our other two cats. She hisses at her male siblings and will sometimes chase them. We have tried meds and a calm collar. We spoke with a cat behavioralist.
We are thinking that her owner was elderly because when my mom comes over with her walker, Luna jumps excitedly up on it and stays there! She twirls in circles and is so happy for the ride. Sometimes I will take her to my moms for a sleepover and she is oh so happy being the only cat.
Luna needs to be the only pet in your quiet home.
