We rescued Goober from the street. He used to watch my husband do yard work, sometimes sleeping on the turned-off mower's bag. We purchased food to feed him as he looked very skinny and we would also give him water.
After a while, we started getting him more stuff (litter box, beds, toys, etc.) and he became ours and the name "Goober" stuck. He still enjoys playing outside as he has become an indoor/outdoor cat.
We have taken him to the vet and he is completely healthy. All his vaccines will be up to date on December 16th, and he has been neutered. According to our estimations and the vet, he is approximately 13 months old in November '21.
Goober has been great. He is litter trained, calm, and loving and has not once jumped onto any of our counters. He likes to play, but catnip seems to be too much for him.
Unfortunately, my husband's allergies have become too severe to be able to keep Goober. He's been an awesome cat and I'm sure he'll make a great companion to a loving family.
