Update: 10/1 - Gypsy has recovered from all her ailments nicely, and has now been spayed. She has really come out of her shell. She loves people now, and loves to crawl into your lap for hugs and attention. She's still slightly timid when meeting new people, but a gentle pat on the head fixes that right up. Gypsy's sister has already found her forever home, and now she'd like one of her own, too.

Hi! I'm Gypsy, and I'm about 12 weeks old (8/12). My sister and I were rescued from a high kill shelter near Jackson, TN. We were terrified of people, too. So the nice lady that saved us thought maybe we'd be better off with a rescue that specialized in German Shepherds.



When we got here, I had demodectic mange, internal parasites, ringworm, giardia and I was underweight. But I'm recovering nicely from everything, and learning that people can be FUN!



I am utd on routine vaccinations, have been treated with Frontline Plus, and am being treated for my mange and ringworm. I'll be in great shape before you know it! Wouldn't you just love for me to be your next best friend?



Gypsy must go to an indoor home where she will be an important part of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Our adoption fee is $250.

Note: We do not have a shelter location. Our dogs are kept in foster homes as part of a family, to help prepare them for transition into their forever homes.
