Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption. You may be required to travel if approved for adoption.
Jaxon (black & white in pictures) was brought to us through the network of wonderful fosters we use in Louisiana, a stray pup with his sister looking for a safe place to crash, hungry and covered in fleas! With the help of a wonderful foster who took them both in, gave them lots of medicated baths, fed them good food, saw to their medical needs, we now have two thriving puppies looking for their forever homes! These puppies are thought to be a Catahoula cur mix and fairly calm and laid back as puppies go, more submissive in personality, but are still active and playful - the foster mom says they are the best puppies she's ever cared for. Jaxon loves his sister! They play together for hours but are also great with other dogs and cats. They will have to learn proper manners as all puppies do but are well on their way! They have started crate training, potty training, and leash training. They are lap dogs if allowed, and love to nuzzle with their person. Jaxon would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a lifetime companion.
