My story

Faith is a princess still working on her manners. She is around 2 years old. Because she was once feral and starved for food, she does resource guard food and toys. She loves to run around and take her toys with her. She can climb any fence and would need to be on a leash or tie out when outside. She knows she wants to play- but right now she's very "in your face" about it. No cats. Fill out an application to meet Faith or call 309-565-4821 for more information.

More about this shelter

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
