This sweet girl is Louise! She's a 4 year old Pitbull mix, who weighs about 50lbs. She is a sweet loving, spunky girl. This girl is fully crate and potty trained. She knows “place”, sit, come, and down. She’s doing well with her leash manners as well. Louise is shy with new people, but as long as they give her the chance to warm up, you’ll become her favorite person!
She’s incredibly dog friendly and LOVES playing with other dogs of all sizes. She isn’t a dominate dog and plays respectfully with others. Louise does have some food allergies that are easily managed with the right food. Louise loves to go hiking and play in her foster homes creek. A family that is more adventurous would find a great companion in Louise!

We will check 2 personal references and a vet reference. If there is a landlord, we will verify you can have pets in your complex.

Lucky Tales requires a home visit in which we will most likely bring the pet with us, to meet you in your home

After the home visit is approved and complete, you will fill out and sign an adoption contract and will pay the adoption fee.

1. Submit an Application for Adoption by using the form on our website www.luckytalesrescue.org.
2. Our Adoptions Committee will review your application to ensure a good fit both for the dog and your family. We will also check your personal references as well as your vet reference. If you haven't done so already, please call your vet to give permission for your records to be released to us.
3. Once we have reached all of your references, we will be in touch with you to schedule a home visit/meet and greet! This part of the process is to ensure that the dog is the best fit for your family! Also, if you have other pets, this gives us the opportunity to observe how they react to one another!
4. If all goes well with the home visit, we will finalize the adoption!!
Please note that we do not do trial adoptions--we promote a lifelong adoption with the dog and family. Therefore we want to ensure that it is a proper placement from the start. We do understand that things come up, which is why we promise to support you through this process and after the adoption.
Our adoption fees are $200.00 for adult dogs and $250.00 for puppies.
No refunds on adoption fees.
