My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It is hard to believe but adorable Woofie was found as a stray hiding under a car. A very good samaritan brought him to the shelter. Upon intake and vet examination, Woofie was found to be almost blind due to early onset cataracts. Apparently he has some vision but it is hard to estimate how much given how stressful it is at a public animal shelter. We picked him up the day before Thanksgiving and giving him some time to relax. He is a very sweet boy. In terms of a home, his ideal situation would be with a dog savvy person or couple in a quiet household. Having a friendly doggie brother or sister is also a plus as a sighted canine companion could act as a guide to an extent. Woofie is neutered, had a dental has had all core vaccines and is microchipped. Additionally, we offer a two week trial adoption.
