My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hannah is one of 5 yorkies released from a puppy mill on 9/30/21. She is an absolute doll and hard to resist when she raises up that one little paw asking you to pick her up and snuggle her. We were told Hannah is 5 to 6 years old and she weighs about 7 pounds. Even though she is becoming more and more social, she would do better in a quiet home. Because of this and her tiny size she will not be considered for homes with young children. She has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. We could not get her in for a dental before March, 2022 so she will need a dental. Hannah is currently in Arkansas and the other Yorkie in the pictures with her is Lindsey who was rescued at the same time. They are being fostered in the same home. Hannah’s adoption donation is $755 which includes a $155 transport fee. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.

Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
