My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**CEDAR HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Pal's Place would love to introduce to you an adorable group of 10 precious and perfect pups, the Christmas tree litter! They were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago waiting to meet their forever families. These sweethearts are currently about 9 weeks old (11/26) and ready for families! We have no information about their background, so breed and estimated adult size are educated guesses. The puppies appear to be a mix of Mountain Cur, Labrador, and possibly terrier. Both parents were most likely mixed breeds so they are probably a combination of several breeds. They all weigh between 6-12 pounds currently. We are expecting them to be medium-sized dogs when fully grown, in the 35-55 pound range. There are 6 males and 4 females in the litter. They are very friendly, social, curious, and happy puppies and will make first-rate companions! Given their breed type, we are expecting that they will mature to be energetic and intelligent dogs that will do best with active families. Please keep in mind that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 2-3 hours or so) and lots of playtime during the day for the next several months so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy prior to applying.

The adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. This fee helps to cover their medical expenses while in our care. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and have also been started on flea/heartworm preventatives and dewormer.

This litter is in a foster home and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved. For more info or for an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit our website at palsplacerescue.org Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for more than 3 days after an application has been received and approved for a meeting. Please do not apply to adopt unless you are ready to welcome a dog into your home within 3 days of applying.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
