My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet adorable and athletic Cody! Charming Cody is only 14 months old and weighs about 40lbs. Cody was rescued as a young pup by K9 Rescue and Rehab from a basement of an abandoned home. Cody was thin and shy at first, but after TLC and good care, he’s social and happy and ready for his forever home! Cody is a truly awesome play partner and definately needs another similar sized dog in his new home. He is a perfect match for his foster sibling who is similar sized and energy. Cody still needs some confidence building and another dog as his buddy will really help him settle in. Cody might be a little shy with people at first but he warms up quickly! Cody loves to be outdoors and will make a great exercise partner. He is working on his leash skills but getting better every day. Cody will require an adopter who is ready to be his leader and continue with his training. Cody is crate-trained and house-trained and working on his basic commands. He loves his toys, snuggling on his warm blankets and hanging out with his canine and people pack. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he does get super excited about squirrels so a no kitty household is best. He will require a 5 foot securely fenced yard and adopters who will give him attention, exercise and stimulation. An adult only home is best for this boy, and kids must be over 16, due to his energy level. Cody is vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. For more information about this most handsome and happy youngster Cody, email Tamera at info@k9rr.org or go to raincityrescue.com/adopt to complete an adoption application right now! You really have to meet this super sweet and lovable boy who can’t wait to become your next best forever family member!
