My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Ardita and I’m 7 weeks of age (1/9/2010). I have 6 siblings and we are all quite bubbly. I love people and I’m pretty active for my age! We may have some sort of terrier in us, but we are kinda big for those types. We may be part hound, spaniel, terrier…and a couple other things.

I am very cute with white socks. I’m not house-broken – too cold out anyways! Haven’t started leash training and won’t for a couple weeks – I'm a little young for that, too.

So – even though I’m adorable – there is a lot of work still to go to make me a great companion. I do love people, I'm good with other dogs – though some of the big ones here gave me a fright at first – THEY ARE HUGE!

I will not be adopted out to a family with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is because of my puppy energy and the typical inability of children younger than this to effectively discourage inappropriate puppy behavior. Older children have the ability to redirect behavior that could be misunderstood but is just typical puppy shenanigans.

I've been dewormed, am up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and am on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
