FOR ADOPTION: AZZIE is an approximately 8 year old male looking for a quiet and loving home. This big boy showed up as a stray at a home in rural Smithers and the homeowner ensured he was well fed until we had room to bring him in. Azzie was advertised as found and does have a microchip but unfortunately the previous owners never registered his chip in their name and no one responded to his found add so Azzie is now officially looking for his new home. Azzie is an easy going, calm and gentle cat that gets overwhelmed by loud children and would prefer a home aged 10+ but could handle occasional young visitors. Azzie has been wonderful with the other friendly cats at the shelter, he is on the submissive side and takes awhile to get the courage to approach new cats but is always very respectful in his actions. Azzie has been non reactive towards calm dogs. Azzie enjoys a good petting session and we imagine his favourite activities will be curling up in a comfy spot to watch the world, if you happened to want to sit with him he would be thrilled. Azzie’s playful side may emerge more as he settles into his forever home but right now he is more of a lounger than a player. Azzie would do best indoor only.
