My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Got his own boy and a wee k-9 pal...lovely family.  Happy for all.  Check out similar guys Frosty and JasperDale---white fluffies.

Madden is @3-4 years old and 13 lbs. All white. Looks like a miniature poodle and/or bichon mix. He was a stray.  He may have been abused in the past: when he was first found he was very nervous about being touched and would flinch when petted on certain spots. For his first couple weeks here he stayed in a dog bed in the corner. Then he got attached to one of the volunteers and started visiting her in the front office. Now he is more confident and plays in the yard- he's got a lot of energy! He still likes his quiet time and is still shy of most other people.  ***He would do best in a quiet home that gives him time to blossom. He needs to learn how to walk on a leash. He's ok with dogs his size or smaller, though he can be territorial about his bed. He barks/snaps at most bigger dogs. He's friends with some of our gentlest little dogs and they really race around together..

Despite his shyness, he's really a sweet boy. Very loving and loyal to his people. He will be a great companion in the right home!

*He is neutered, but it was a difficult procedure. His incision area has improved a lot but still needs to be monitored a bit.
