My story

Hi everyone, my name is Precious! I'm up for adoption here at Helping Paws Animal Shelter. I can be a little shy at first when meeting new people but I'm working on that in my foster home. My foster mom says I'm such a sweetheart and that I love to be petted, cuddled, and I like to follow her around. I also love to play outside and I get along with my foster mom's dogs. Please contact the shelter to schedule an appointment to meet me.D.O.B: 5-1-21

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoption Procedure If you are interested in adopting an animal, you must first fill out a pre-adoption form (see below) so that we can match the right family to the right pet. Before a dog can be adopted, a second visit to the shelter is required. It is important that everyone in your family meets the new dog and if you already have a dog that a meet and greet is arranged to make sure the dogs will get along. It is also important that you are entirely sure that this is the right decision for you and your family. Helping Paws' primary concern is the well being of all our loving animals entrusted to our care. Our Adoption Policies list the requirements we stand by to ensure the animals are adopted into loving, responsible homes. Adoption forms are available at the shelter; they are not available on the website. Adoption Fees Dogs: $350.00 8 weeks up to 1 year $300.00 1 year through 7 years $250.00 Over 7 years 7 years and over available for Senior-to-Senior (adopter must be 65 or older to have adoption fee waived) Cats: $130.00 Kittens (2 for $220.00) $100.00 Teenager (2 for $170.00) $80.00 Adult Cat (2 for $120.00)
