My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi There! Pleased to meet you! My name is Penny. I am approximately 4 years old, and did not have the best start in life. Somehow, through no fault of my own, I found myself living in a shelter. One of the volunteers liked me so much that she took me home as her foster daughter. Now I am quite the young lady…a real heartbreaker. I have a clean bill of health and a great temperament to go with it ! I am 38 pounds of love and affection. I love to play with both my canine and human friends. I do get confused and scared around very small children, so its probably best if I go to a home that does not have young children. In my current foster home there are children ages 12 and up, and I am perfectly fine and relaxed. There are also two dogs, and I get along with them just fine. During the day, I love to stay close to my human, but when she goes out, I'm happy to wait for her in my crate. I am spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all my shots. I'm also very friendly and loving. All I need now is my forever family. I am looking forward to a new lease on life in 2010.
