Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baxter, aka Mister B, is a fantastic ambassador for rescue. Drop dead gorgeous, he is low to the ground and a tank of a dog with a beautiful head and a lovely expression. Approximately three years old, he has a fantastic temperament, loving, loyal and playful with a wise way about him, although he is a complete hog for attention and loves to be entertained. Whoever had him first put a lot of time into him. He exits his crate only with permission...no bull of of the chute with this boy, lol....takes treats ever so gently, sits before doors before you open them and walks well on the leash. His manners are quite good. An absolute toy junkie, he is very toy literate and loves to play tug as well. As in a LOT, lol. He is not a naïve dog and will guard your property, but also welcomes your guests with a wagging tail. He gets along fine with dogs but may not be appropriate for cats and smaller furries. A strong, powerful dog likely best suited for those with some dog experience, but he will transition effortlessly wherever he goes. His energy is quite reasonable and he crates well. He absolutely loves men, but gets along with everyone. Applications are available via contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com. Adoptions to RI, CT and NH; we unfortunately cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents. Baxter's adoption fee is $450.
