My story

Jerry, aka "JJ," is a true teenager with a sense of adventure. He loves to play games outdoors with humans as well as doggie friends who share his interests. He is playful and loves to hang out with his lady dog friends at the park. He enjoys running the fence line and always treats other dogs in a respectful manner. He would love a home with a fenced yard as his enthusiasm to get where he is going does not make it ideal to walk him for exercise, etc.
Jerry would love to have a dog pal so feel free to bring your dog to meet him. He is a two-year-old boxer mix so he has a lot of living and loving to do! All pet adoptions are subject to approval by SPCA staff.

An adoption application must be completed, followed by a screening and interview/counseling process. Adoption requirements are listed on the application.

We perform a fence check for most dogs and a vet check for all current pets. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations.

Please contact the shelter directly for each pet's adoption fee: 803-648-6863. All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, testing and a microchip.
