My story

Beautiful, fit, and fun 3-year-old lab/boxer girl, looking to meet the perfect person or family.

About me: I weigh about 45 pounds, I'm agile and in great shape, and love to play fetch. I'm pretty good on a leash and I'll almost always sit when you ask me to - a treat usually helps! I would love to have dog friends, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I just need a comfy couch and a person who loves to snuggle - a lot! I haven't been around kids yet, so it would be best if I had a family with only older children who know appropriate boundaries with all dogs.

More about me: A little shy at first, I don't take very long to warm up. (I'm not sure about cats yet.) My vaccinations are up to date, I'm spayed, and I'm heartworm negative. I haven't even had an accident in the house yet, and I'm already crate trained. In other words, I'm all ready to take the next step with you if our first meeting is successful!

Our adoption fee of $200 covers vaccinations (3 rounds for puppies), de-wormer, microchip and spay/neuter. Requirements include completed application and a home visit. Submitting an application does not guarantee anything as we strive to make sure it's an ideal fit for both the dog and the family. Thanks for your understanding!

More about this rescue

Our niche is rescuing elusive dogs who have been living on the streets of Dallas, Tx. We spend days, weeks and sometimes months trying to catch a certain dog. The dogs then move into loving foster homes so they can be part of a family and learn more about home life. We have found that these dogs are extremely resilient and quickly adapt to life off the streets and make great additions to a family!

The dogs are vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested (and treated if positive). We spend a lot of time and energy getting these dogs off the streets so are very diligent in who they go to. We want to make sure it's going to be the ideal fit for both the adopter and the dog.
