Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Otis at 8 months old in Jan of '21. We don't know much about his history other than he had a growth above his eye that was removed. He also had some kind of injury to his left eye. He can't see much out of it, although we think he can see shapes. He was treated for heartworm earlier this year ('21) and has a clean bill of health.
He craves attention and wants to be up on your lap and with you as much as possible. He loves to play fetch and tug of war. He gets very excitable when new people come into the home. Crate trained and knows sit and wait.
He desperately needs more attention, whether that is through a dog playmate or more time spent. We can't give him all the attention he needs. As a result, he is exhibiting some negative traits such as chewing on things. We can't take on another dog and really need to find him a new home that can love him and meet his needs.
In order to meet and ensure good fit we'll only consider someone within an hour's drive of us.
