Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cookie, a 2-3 year old lab/hound mix who is looking for her forever home. She had a rough start to life as a street dog in TX. She survived starvation and distemper, and now she's looking to find a home where she can get all the cuddles and snuggles and love from her new family. As a result of her distemper, there is a persistent jaw chatter that will forever be part of her life due to some neurological damage from the infection. She is completely healthy, and is a perfectly loving, happy, and playful pup aside from her constant jaw clench. She is still learning to share food and toy with her canine foster siblings, and is getting better at it each day. She loves to chase after balls, play tug, collect sticks for chewing, and chase after her best dog friends. It's like she's making up for the puppy years that she never got to have! She loves going on walks, enjoys quiet time in her crate and she always uses the potty outside! The only flaw that her foster points out is that she is a bit of a messy drinker, but she promises to bring lots of love into your home if you can overlook that. Cookie's adoption fee includes her spay, which will take place on 2/3/2022.
