Bonded Pair Alert!!! Meet our bonded pair: Alec, a terrier mixes with one Aussie blue eye, and Bruno, a Maltese mix. They are 3 years old. Alec weighs 16 pounds and Bruno weighs 10 pounds. These boys are very bonded; however, they really love their person and want lots of individual attention.
They came to SCMR from a caring lady who rescued them from being kept outside all year round. Bruno occasionally got to go inside but not Alec. Bruno and Alec are healthy little guys and have been fully vetted.
NEITHER BOY IS HOUSE TRAINED, although Alec is about halfway there. He just needs a little more work, but he's trying, sweet boy that he is! Both wear belly bands indoors. Alec has severe storm anxiety and barks very loudly when there is thunder. For this reason, they cannot be adopted to live in an apartment. They like to run outside and will need a home with a safe, fenced yard. No fence? Don't fill out the form.
They LOVE being inside! Bruno is an escape artist...he can climb baby gates! Alec likes squeaky toys. Bruno and one of his foster sisters just love to play like crazy! Funny thing...they will growl at each other and sound like they are about to rumble, but they never do...just a weird habit!!
It is unknown how they will do with cats, so we are not able to say how they would do with cats in the home.
We will not split this pair up...they need to stay together. They are no trouble at all, they eat their Life's Abundance kibble and Life's Abundance canned food! Surely someone has a place in his or her heart for this sweet pair who are so loving.
