My story

Are you fluent in cat and have a sense of humor? If yes, James could be the cat for you. This 2-year-old is a zany, energetic, physical boy. He loves galloping around and playing. He likes to be pet but will let you know when he is ready to move on. He is very food motivated and you can get him to do just about anything with food. James will be most comfortable in a forever home with teens-and-up where he can be your one and only cat. If you are interested in meeting James, please submit our online adoption application which can be found at www.fofct.org.Buckle up and say hello to our beautiful and curious 8-month-old Tazzie! After a rough start in life, she is blossoming in her foster home. Tazzie is a clever beauty with a lively personality. She enjoys being part of family activities, playing like crazy, investigating new things, and hanging out with the dog and other cats in her foster home. This funny and busy girl seems to like affection on her terms, yet she'll happily share lap time with her favorite peeps and often sleeps on the son’s bed or right next to the dog. She would be happiest in a home with another pet with a similar energy level. If you are interested in meeting adorable, fun-loving Tazzie, the first step is to submit an adoption application (https://www.fofct.org/adoption-applications).

Please note applicants MUST reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT, and have reliable transportation. Some cats may be restricted to a smaller radius on a case-by-case basis.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
