My story

Good with Kids: Not yet
Good with Cats: Yes
Activity level: Low

History : Frankie came into care as a semi feral teenager. Frankie has come a long ways but still takes time to warm up.

Description: This handsome young man is Frankie. He's about a year and a half old and is the king of lazing around the house. Frankie loves to hang out with his foster friends but Frankie does not want to be approached, he likes to make the first move. He's curious and playful, and he has no issues with other cats. He is a super chill floofer that needs a quiet home and a patient owner who will let him hang out and just be himself. Frankie loves to explore, you know he's on an adventure when you hear him chirping and squeaking, it's the cutest noise ever! ♥ So if you have a quiet home and a window sill to chill in... Frankie wants to call it his furever.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

First we require an Adoption Application to be sent in. This Application is our initial screening process where you must submit 3 references (whom are not family). If your application is acceptable, we will schedule a meet and greet/home check with the dog and all of your family must be present. If your meet and greet/home check is approved, we take a day to decide whether this adoption is right for the dog, if it is, we require an adoption fee of $400.00 which includes Spay/Neuter, up to date vaccinations and de-wormer and microchip.

More about this rescue

Hope Lives Here is a 100% volunteer based non-profit animal rescue based out of foster homes in Central AB. We focus on saving abandoned, homeless dogs and place them into warm, loving homes until they find their furever homes. Our mission focuses on rescuing abandoned, unwanted, homeless dogs within Central Alberta and giving them the love, warm home and the second chance that they deserve. We rely solely on donations and our foster homes. We will be placing our rescues into suitable foster homes until they are adopted. We are not concerned with how long a dog is in care as long as they are getting the well needed tlc that they deserve.
