My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"JJ" is a sweet boy that hasn't found his fit here in our home. He is a 7 month old male Bernedoodle that we have had since he was 14 weeks old. He came to us with a number of struggles but has made some great strides. We are unsure of the situation that he was in before we adopted him but feel that he had little interaction with people. He has come a long way and we know he will continue to learn and grow. Our hope is to find someone who is kind, patient, calm, and loving to give "JJ" the care he needs as he grows into adulthood. He currently takes medication for anxiety, as he struggles when we leave the house and when other people come over. His initial reaction to anything new is fear. Though we think he might do well with a family one day, he is very nervous around children because of the noise and quickness of their movements. He barks when he is excited, unsure, and scared. He does get along well with our other dog. His coat requires daily maintenance.
