Perry is one of 5 domestic kittens that were abandoned in a parking lot. Luckily, he & his siblings, about 6-7 wks old at the time, seemed to have been taken care of, were well fed & friendly. He has been neutered, dewormed, defleaed, and has had his series of vaccinations (FVRV-FCV-FPV, etc., and Rabies). The corresponding paperwork will be provided to the adopter. He is a gorgeous blue Mackerel Tabby with short, shiny fur and a purr-box that won't quit. Estimated age at this writing (1/9/22) is approximately 4 ½ months. He is sweet, handsome, clean, litter trained, very playful and loves to cuddle. He enjoys wrestling with his sisters, and they play nicely together, so I believe he will do just fine with other cats. I’m sure he’s going to be an affectionate companion to some lucky family.

Perry, a Dunnellon American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Dunnellon, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dunnellon.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dunnellon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dunnellon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dunnellon paves the way for another one to be saved.
