My story

Bullet is a tall, handsome but typical goofy dobie boy. At 3 years old he has plenty of energy to keep you busy but can also relax once he has been properly exercised.
Bullet found himself homeless when the landlord said no Dobermans in the building. So sad some places still have breed restrictions.
Bullet's owner said he lived with a GSD and so far he has met other dogs and doing ok with them. He is very enthusiastic so he will need a playmate (preferably a female) that is able to handle his puppy type play energy. No kitties for Bullet, he is too interested and doesn't know his own size.
Bullet is on the larger side for a Doberman and may not be well suited for a home with very young children.
He will need a home with a physically fenced in yard.

Why adoption is a great option

Bullet, a Louisville Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
