Shadow-Chaser is a puppy with the most beautiful dark eyes. He is a bit shy of new people but is adjusting well to 'home life' with numerous other big foster dogs. As of 12/5/2021, he was approximately 45 pounds, but he's still growing! He wants nothing more than to have his 'own people' who will love him and speak loving words into those gorgeous eyes. He surely won't last long. Hurry!!!

$300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care.

Additional adoption info

1. Look at our wonderful dogs and cats. Try to pick just one or two you'd like to meet.
2. Email us to request an Adoption Application. We'll reply within 48 hrs.
3. Complete the application and email it back to us.
4. Our Adoption Counselors will review your application and get back to you within 24 hrs. We reserve the right to decline any application. A home visit may be required.
5. If you're approved, we'll set up a time for you to meet the pet at a location that's convenient for you and the foster. (All our pets live in foster homes around the city. We are not a public shelter.)

Meet our adoptable pets most weekends at one of the locations below. If there's a specific pet you're coming to see, please email (MuttsAndMeows@Mail.com) the day before or call the store DURING ADOPTION TIMES ONLY and ask to speak to a volunteer. Please do not call the store outside of our regular adoption hours. The pets live in foster homes during the week so the store employees do not know which pets will be there that weekend.

Mutts & Meows Rescue is a private rescue headquartered near Sugar Land (in the southwestern suburbs of Houston). We work closely with other rescues as well as the Animal Control Departments of various municipalities in the Houston area to place dogs and cats in loving, permanent homes. Our pets live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets. Our adoption fees - include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, FEV/FELV tests for cats, and heartworm tests for dogs that are old enough.
