Affectionate! Smart! Playful! Active! These are just a few traits our handsome Qbert is known for among staff and volunteers! Our boy loves everyone, and everyone loves Qbert including kids & the canine kind! Our love bug is 3 months old.
Our snuggle bug’s adoption fee is $400 which includes his neuter, microchip implant, fecal exam, and shots up to date.
Please consider opening your heart and loving home to this amazing boy!
Note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.
As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.

Qbert, a Joliet Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Joliet.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
