Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nana and Leia are an incredible bonded pair who we rescued after they were brought to the shelter when their owner became terminally ill. They were facing certain euthanasia and we could not let this happen.
I can not express enough how incredible they are. Their tails never stop wagging and the kisses they give are endless. Leia is a tiny bit of a thing and just wants to crawl into your lap. Nana is an adorable, goofy ball of energy. 💕
They are good with everyone and are extremely attached to one another.
Leia was extremely emaciated, heartworm positive and anemic. She completed her heartworm treatment and has put on 3 pounds! We ran a full comprehensive blood panel, had an ultrasound and radiographs completed. She also received a b12 shot and some medication to help her on the road to recovery. She will soon be able to be spayed. They are about 1-2 years old, good with other dogs and people of all ages. Nana has high energy and loves to play and is about 40lbs, Leia loves a lap to cuddle and is 29lbs.
Please consider opening your home to these sweet pups.
We can not help any others until we place some of those currently in our care. By fostering, you help us to save another!
