PoPo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

PoPo's Story...
PoPo is a very handsome 4 1/2 year old neutered red smooth dachshund. He weighs about 12 lbs and is on a healthy diet to lose some extra weight. He is shy, but good with other dogs and people. He gets along with other dogs. PoPo is crate trained, but loves to sleep under the covers. PoPo came into rescue with his housemate Tasha (see additional information). The two of them have grown up together and would love to stay together. Tasha is very scared without PoPo. If you would like more information, please contact us at k9scome1st@aol.com. PoPo's adoption fee is $250.00 but is negotiable if the two are adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PoPo, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
