My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl, Stella, is the mom to our Seal Team litter. This litter was her SECOND in a nine month time frame, but she has now been spayed and can enjoy a life of being waited on paw and paw.

She is slender (she came in significantly underweight due to puppies puppies puppies), but has started some filling out. She will likely be a slender girl, which is not a bad thing for her bones as she ages.

She took a few days to settle in, but she is friendly, affectionate and so so sweet. She quickly learned what sleeping with a person is like - though she doesn't choose that on a consistent basis. She and her foster are working on building her confidence with leash walking, but its is a slow process. For that reason, a physically fenced yard is a must for her.

She is up to date on vaccinates, flea/tick/heartworm preventative and has been dewormed and microchipped as well.

She gets along famously with the other dogs in the household and enjoys the company of cats (and doesn't even want to chase them)!

If you believe your family is a good fit for her, please submit your application. A volunteer will review it as soon as they get a chance. Only approved applications will be passed along to foster for contacting the applicant.
