We adopted Yogi nearly 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love. He is extremely well behaved and trained off-leash to stay by your side with little redirection. He is a bird-dog so huge prey drive and very high-energy and active. We believe he is around 6 years old and although he has calmed down some, he still requires someone with high-energy who can take him for walks and gas him out. Yogi is a frisbee catching machine that loves the water ( rivers, lakes, etc - not baths- HAHA) He is the perfect dog for someone who is single or far off from starting a family and who wants a energetic, compassionate companion. He loves to cuddle and snuggle on you at the end of the day and is extremely loving.
Now, here are the kickers - He does not do well with young kids or other dogs. Not aggressive but more of a loner who enjoys human company over kids and pets. If one or the other overstep their boundaries he will let them know with nips, growls, etc.. NOT IDEAL FOR YOUNG KIDS at eye level
