My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Robbie! I'm an older boy, but don't let that fool you - I can still play fetch and chew on tennis balls like a pup. I love being social with my people and getting all the attention from them. It does take me a little while to be comfortable with new people, but once I know you, I am very loyal and affectionate.

I'm recently had a break in a foster home and one of my favorite things to do was hang out in the back yard basking in the sun. That's also where my arch enemy - the neighborhood squirrel - would taunt me. He thinks he's so smart up on the fence, but I know I'll catch him one day! I'm also happy to lie around and snooze. My foster dad says I snored, but that it's also very cute. I don't doubt it.

My ideal home is a quieter place without children or a lot of new people coming in and out. I would do best in a home without other animals. If you are looking for someone to cuddle up with after spending time outside playing fetch, I'm your guy!

Go meet their pets

You can find up-to-date information on all of our available pets by visiting IndyHumane.org/Cats or IndyHumane.org/Dogs. Adopt-a-Pet is a third party site and not a source of reliable, updated information.

Our website is updated throughout each day, so if you see a pet on there that you are interested in, as long as their photo is on the website it means they are still available. Each profile will have a link for their online application.
