My story

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: No
Good with cats: No
Good with kids: Kids 16+
Crate trained: No
House trained: Yes

Santini is a fantastic girl looking for a home where she can be queen of the castle with a furever family that loves her as much as she does them!

This lady has got it all – She has excellent manners and is house-trained, so crating is optional. She enjoys car rides, tug of war and does great on a leash with a prong collar. Santini would love to keep learning new commands, and is happy to fit into her human(s)’ routine, including plenty of couch snuggling time. She’s a true people pleaser, and also a good communicator, so she’ll let you know what she needs in her own sweet way.

Because she wants so badly to make her humans happy, Santini would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who can establish and maintain clear, consistent boundaries and expectations – she finds this very reassuring, and it helps her to be her best pup self.

Santini’s got good energy and would love a home with a yard to play in with a 5’+ fence – she’s not a flight risk, but she is a good jumper when she gets excited! She should also be an only pet in a home without young children.

Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to bring lots of love and smiles to one very lucky furever family!

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: No
Good with kids: No
Crate trained: Working on it
House trained: Yes

Santini is sweet, cuddly, clear communicator. She is very gentle when taking treats and has a great disposition. She is house broken, enjoys car rides, and tug of war!

Santini would do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or children under 16. She would benefit from an experienced dog owner who is consistent with practicing good manners and structure because this girl wants to be the queen of the house.

Santini would love a home with a fully fenced yard with a fence of 5 feet or higher so she can run around. She can jump almost 4 feet high and can still acts like a puppy with lots of energy. Santini would love an adopter who will teach her more commands, work with her on her training, and fit her into their active routine.

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S. As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other. Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
