My story

Age (best guess based on teeth):  3 yrs

Size (full grown best guess for puppies) : Currently 55lbs but should be closer to 75lbs

Information: Marshall was surrendered to a shelter and if you know the breed he started to decline in personality and demeanor. We could not let an absolutely wonderful dog to become so depressed that the shelter would euthenize. Since being out of the shelter Marshall is an amazing boy. He is a talkative pup who loves to play with other dog friends. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves to go for rides. Marshall would thrive with some training. He is a very quick learner. Marshall does well with other dogs NO CATS, and No children under 10. Marshall requires a dominant person and experience with the breed PERSONAL OWNED EXPERIENCE WITH HIS BREED OR THE LIKE BREEDS. We will not adopt him to a person who rents an apartment. He needs a home environment with lots of room to run.

We are a foster based rescue based out of Muskegon, MI. We have an application process for adopting our pets. We have an application on our website www.caninesrescue.com. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITH YOUR APPLICATION INFORMATION. WE REQUIRE YOU FILL OUT THE FORM. We check vet references, backgrounds for abuse or neglect and home ownership or speak to the landlord to verify you are allowed to have a pet. Once the application is received and approved then we will set up a time for you to come and meet our pups that are available. All our dogs are up to date on shots, microchipped, been dewormed at least once. All meet and greets are APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not have a facility that the public can come and view our pets at.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster based rescue. We are not a shelter. We treat our rescue dogs like they are our own. We do it because if we don't who will? We love the animals and we speak up for the voiceless. We take the strays, the ones left in the shelter, the injured, the sick, and the owner surrenders and find new homes for them once they are better and/or fully vetted.
