My story

Molly A234450

Female - 7 years old
Came in 10/15/21 as a Stray

Handling 11/5: https://youtu.be/-N_xSIWtbjY
Handling 10/16: https://youtu.be/rz64pc-O4YE
Handling: https://youtu.be/ay1rd-Dik78
Leash test: https://youtu.be/QfDb64QtU50

Molly is a dainty little girl. She looks even smaller in her kennel all curled up tightly in a ball sleeping. Molly doesn't take long to pop up when we approach to take her out and makes leashing easy. She is ready to go! Molly doesn't do much attention seeking at first, she wants to handle her business and find the nearest toy. Molly might be dainty but she has a big playful side. She loves to chase balls and tear them apart. She plays keep-away and has some great moves. Molly allows handling all over and sits on command for treats. She is getting even thinner as her stay at the shelter extends. Since her people don't appear to be coming, help us find Molly a new place to rest her head.

Why adoption is a great option

Molly, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
