Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2008 Arabian Mare, 13.1h
(Arrived: 11/3/21) Kali is a sweet and willing girl that came with two other mares. She responds quickly to aids and although she can sometimes be reactive, has a calm demeanor most of the time. During her initial evaluation it seems like she already knows groundwork and does what is asked of her. Kali does have a big left hind ankle but when flexed by the vet, she remained sound on it. We have had x-rays done on that hind, which revealed it as scar tissue and nothing serious that would impact her staying sound.
5/25/22: Kali has been started under saddle and has taken very well to being ridden. She clearly has had some under saddle training before as she understands leg pressure and steering aids. We will keep working with her under saddle to refine those cues and help her get more comfortable with a rider’s weight. With more training it is possible that Kali would make a good children’s riding pony as she is well mannered and willing.
