My story

Elvira is super sweet and loves walks and playing with other dogs.  Shes about 3 or 4 and was abandoned on a rope at the local shelter. She was very sick when she arrived and it took a while for the docs to discover what she really needed. She needs an owner that will train and help her become the best dog she can be. She suffers from a mild case of Megeasophagus. This means she needs to be monitored when feeding and drinking. She needs to be in an elevated position so her food can be assisted by gravity. Elvira is currently using a bailey chair to help with her feeding. She would do great with an attentive family and maybe as an only dog or with one other dog. She seems to like older kids and adults.
